On Sabbatical at Stanford this year.

Howdy Bitcoiners!

I’ve decided to spend the year in the Bay Area. I’m on sabbatical from Texas A&M, which gives me a year off of teaching. I’ll mostly be meeting with friends and colleagues from Stanford (the Business School, Economics Dept, and the Computer Science Department) as well as startups and investors in the area. I’ll be traveling back and forth to Texas, mostly to have meetings with ERCOT about bitcoin mining. But most of the time I’ll be here, based near Mountain View.

Next on the agenda is to attend the SF Bitdevs, meet the founding of team of Theya (the only bitcoin startup in YCombinator), and talk to the cryptographers and security researchers at Stanford.
